Nestled in the luxury heart of Rome, the Mattioli's flagship store has been inaugurated in October 2010. The boutique - exeptionally located in 105, Via del Babuino, close to the well-known Spanish Steps- clearly expresses the taste that has always inspired Licia Mattioli, the entrepreneur who created the Brand and has managed the Turin Design Company for over ten years.
The black lacquer inside the Art Déco style store counters the light colored parchment finishing, and ivory velvet couches and poufs that add light to the entire environment in a play of reflections and amplified volumes generated by the ample mirror walls. The sparkling light from the chandeliers that dominate the store furnishing is reflected onto the stones and gems of the collection of jewels that love disign and modern art perhaps more than anything else.
The Mattioli Area harmoniously illustrates the idea of a living-room shop - a private place to relax in and gaze at all the precious objects displayed there and find just the wonderful thing you were looking for. The neutral embrace of delicate colors and hues underscores the triumphant materials and style displayed by each rose gold item often enriched by diamond, mothers of pearl and colored gems. Each tells its owns story evoked by its name and design and each bears a sign generaed by important and significant moments and places for Licia Mattioli: the East in Tibet, the seraglio in Siriana, Calder and Mondrian, color and movement in the Puzzle set, Mattioli's iconic line.
Another address for the notebooks of All Roman Ladies and foreign fashion victims strolling along Via Del Babuino.
